The online lessons will be similar to in person lessons with the student given the the lesson material a few days before then on the day we will review new words and the meanings with example sentences followed by a choice of either listening to or reading the text aloud then a review before finishing the lesson.
Please note that for over 15 years I've worked in the education field. I have been lucky enough to teach at a variety of levels including preschool, Kindergarten, Elementary, Junior High, High School, adult and business teaching. Working in these different environments has given me experience and flexibility in adapting to different teaching situations. I feel I’m well suited to understanding and focusing on student needs and what makes them feel comfortable in class and ultimately have students be happy and successful in their attempts with English.
My Japanese level is in the beginning intermediate range and I’m comfortable speaking Japanese if necessary.
